     It had been years. He had been dead for five years. And she still missed him desperately. She still cried herself to sleep at night. For the first few months, the twins slept in bed with her- someone to keep her company at night. A few months ago, Teagan gave her a dream catcher to help ward away her nightmares. And Crow honestly believed that it helped, if only a little bit.     But there was so much more than what everyone got to see of her. Externally, everyone thought she was healing- that she was getting over the tragic death of her beloved husband. But at night, when the twins were in their rooms, asleep, Crow was still up.    

    She was heartbroken. Any one could see it. They had sent their twins to her parents' house so they could convert the nursery to a guest bedroom. Teagan hadn't wanted to leave, he was too worried about his mother after the news that his brother wouldn't be coming home.
